AI made marketing execution cheap. Judgment — knowing whether the work is any good — still gets built only one way: through reps. And the industry keeps cutting the entry-level work where those reps used to live. I've been calling the result Formative Debt, and I've decided to stop just writing about it.
Session Work is an answer. I'm not sure it's the answer. My idea is a small cohort to start. A community. One drill a week: a complete, real-shaped marketing problem you can finish in about an hour. Or, you bring your own work to the table. In either case, you do the rep, post your work, defend it, and get honest feedback — from your fellow players first, and from some coaches last, with every note labeled as observation or preference. Small roster. No curriculum, no certificate, no fee. Ever.
